"I finished "Freida". She was a college professor that had a profound impact on my understanding of women and of African American art and cultures. My latest series of hankies seem to honor women who have been meaningful in my
life. I have a couple more. Then will return to embroidering linen hankies with
poetry."

MONET AND ME
What do Claude Monet and I have in common?
Monet said, “I work at my garden all the
time and with love. My garden is a slow work, pursued with love and I do not
deny that I am proud of it.” Same for me.
Walking through Monet’s garden and returning home
to my own garden produced the same feelings of peacefulness, pleasure, and
promise.
