Innovators and Legends: Generations in Textiles and Fiber   NOTES 4/23/14 Another  textile group Madison Contemporary Fiber Association (MCFA)  http://madisonfiberartists.com/ ( Lisa Binkley Pamela Niebauer and Leslee are in it) Pamela Olson had a wonderful piece in a show at Hillel Cynthia is teaching a class Nature And Garden Journal starts June 25 She's a terrific teacher!!  Sherri brought a transfer pen that you can use to iron on an image. I brought Whack Pack cards  last week.  They help stimulate Creativity There is the app for them or there are the cards This is the original book I have the cards in my orange bag if you want another one  sometime Lisa told us about Mieko Mintz a designer using Kantha fabrics who sells scrap bags & they are available online!  The clothes look great too. Pamela N brought her 10 year old niece's delightful Birthday embroideries. Maureen brought a "Keep Calm" calendar for Margaret's embroidery. Charlene Sweeney ( a knitter) brought an amazing Guatemalan embroidery of dozens of bluebirds. Pamela N brought a 1991 book Celebrating the Stitch  Ann made an accordion book of photos of our exhibit! She finished the wonderful Mary Gates piece & her nature poem one. Joan brought some amazing aprons from her Mom. Maureen brought several books Sew Somerset Winter 2014 Vibrant Quilt Collage by Bethan Ash The Stitches of Creative embroidery by Jacqueline Enthoven Anne Kingsbury came up as Field trip idea (Milwaukee)
