Brenna Hopkins
CENTER PIECE
Barbara was my
Mother, Grace was her Mother; Bronya was my paternal Grandmother. I am
Brenna. The four of us never met all at once, and I wish we could have.
There was a place for each of us on this hankie. My friend Sherri
made the connection between "centerpiece" and "send her
piece."
A stranger (no
more!) at Victor Allen's contributed the perfect green floss from the stash she
inherited from her Grandmother. Bobbie gave me the handkerchief. I
feel like stitching this was a way we all could be part of something, together.
