Peggy Thorton
The vintage hanky
I chose was well worn and very fragile, perhaps the owner's favorite. I
assume it was present for many valued experiences, so I decided to adorn it
with a message I value.
It took me many
years to understand the importance of "living this day" and how to do
just that. Opening up the senses to experiences the joys, great and small, and
appreciate them is living fully. We must be aware rather than be distracted.
I share this
message with friends and family when they get caught up in the "what
ifs" of the past or the "when this happens" of the future. Today
is the most important day of your life. Don't miss it.
